APhA House of Delegates APPLICATION

The American Pharmacists Association develops policy through the APhA House of Delegates (HOD). Comprised of delegates from state pharmacy associations, APhA membership academies, affiliated organizations, recognized pharmacy organizations, and ex-officio groups, the HOD meet during the APhA Annual Meeting and Exposition to debate and adopt policy proposals developed throughout the year. The Louisiana Pharmacists Association is pleased to hold seats in the HOD, representing the interests of Louisiana pharmacists.  APhA HOD appointments are from June 1st through May 31st.

Eligibility.  Pharmacists must be a member-in-good-standing of LPA, as well as APhA.  Applicants must be able to attend the APhA Annual Meeting and Exposition held in the Spring of the term. (LPA pays for meeting registration and travel accommodations.)

Selection.  Award recipients will be selected based on their active participation in LPA and the profession. Selections shall be made no later than March 31st.
