Take A Stand For the Termination of all "DIR" fees implemented by Pharmacy Benefits Managers on Independent and Retail Pharmacies

Pharmacies suffer from PBMs’ requirements that they pay “direct and indirect remuneration” (DIR) fees, which are imposed after sale in an unpredictable manner. These fees are a big factor in community pharmacies across the country going bankrupt or out of business. There is zero transparency in the use and collection of these fees by giant corporations and we need the Federal government to step in before these companies totally destroy the profession of pharmacy.

These  PBMs claim to save taxpayers money but insurance premiums and copays continue to go up year after year with no end in sight.

Independent pharmacies will go out of business and this will severely limit critical healthcare services in many communities since pharmacists are the most accessible providers.
