The Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME) has advised our office of action(s) taken with respect to the following practitioner(s), the effect of which has altered their legal authority to order or prescribe medications and/or devices for Louisiana residents.  Following the name will be the credential number(s) in brackets; the date in parentheses is the effective date of the action taken by the LSBME.
  • Martha L. Coppage-Hoover [MD.022088](04-11-2016)  Our records indicate Dr. Coppage-Hoover has practiced medicine in the New Iberia, La. area.  The LSBME suspended her medical license for an indefinite period of time.  Therefore, she has no authority to order or prescribe any drugs or devices for any Louisiana residents.
