The following information has been released by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.

We have published an update to the Louisiana Pharmacy Law Book, consisiting of a total replacement of all printed pages.  The new edition is current as of March 15, 2015 and it replaces the previous edition published in January 2014.  Subscribers to the printed version of the law book have two options to update their binders:

>  Subscribers may opt to access the file
here and print the material using their own printer, paper and supplies.  The file is approximately 2.85 MB and consists of 326 pages, of which 306 are numbered.  The pages not numbered are placeholders for the plastic tabs in the binder and they are positioned in the appropriate locations within the electronic file.  Although there is no index, there is a detailed Table of Contents.  In addition, the electronic file is searchable using the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader software.

>  Subscribers may opt to purchase a replacement package from the Board.  The package utilizes double-sided printing and contains a copy of
Bulletin No. 15-01 which provides detailed instructions on how to insert the replacement package in the permanent binder.  The bulletin also contains a summary of the laws and rules updated since the previous edition published in 2014.  In the event subscribers wish to purchase this product, please send a completed product order form to the Board office and include a check or money order for $15.00 payable to the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.

As the Board continues to update its laws and rules, the updated portions are posted first on the Laws & Rules page on the Board's website.  Law book updates are generally published once per calendar year.
