This session will provide attendees with information that can be used to protect themselves and their pharmacy practice site against potentially devastating OSHA fines—and your pharmacy site can continue to protect the public by providing critical services. 

Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians will be able to:

2. Explain the requirements for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to comply with the Bloodborne Pathogens Standards
3. Describe engineering and work practice controls that can help minimize exposure risks
4. List the hepatitis B vaccination requirements for health care workers
5. Outline the proper post-exposure response.
