Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
The Prescription Monitor Program is administered and managed by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy (www.labp.com) and can be reached at (225) 925-4767 or (225) 925-6496.
Pharmacists - Effective January 1, 2009, pharmacies dispensing controlled substances must report those transactions through the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy (LABP) Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP). Pharmacists must apply for authority to access the information electronically, but only for their own patients.
How to Register as an Authorized User
- Complete the RxSentry® Orientation Course
- File Dispenser's Application, with valid state identification card (ex. driver's license) for Board Approval
- Upon Board Approval, you will receive an email from LACSUR with your username and password.
